Romping reporter here! :D

Heres the link to some of my pics from the weekend - including additional pics of St Conan's Kirk (CtL has adopted it as his scottish base!), The Castle and the Bridge or Orchy B Road all in better weather conditions!

Thanks again to Jim, David, Brian and their better halves for additionally putting up myself, Dezzy and Sergey on the way up for a night, and also to Connor for his tireless photography. Thanks also to TinTin for his great idea of holding a Whisky tasting and to Gregor for the Beer tasting!

I think we should also thank the Guys running the Tyndrum Inn for doing everything we asked and going a fair bit further as well. They've had some bad reviews in the past on trip advisor so if your visit was all you hoped or more then please take the time to leave them a good review +++

Lastly thank you to one and all of you all for coming - it was a long way to travel for many, and yet we still had one of our best attendances which says a lot - and it was also great to meet so many new faces from the forum.

Please make sure that you vote in the current poll for next year's annual meet location if you intend to come - and also please consider getting to one or more of our other meet dates around the country, it would be great if we could meet up at Christmas time if weather and schedules allow too like we have a couple of times in the past!

Home from the Highlands and we've done a lot, been all over, had a puncture, even had some sneaky b'stard clobber my rear bumper (3rd time now).
What a stunning country, amazing roads, gobsmacking scenery, and friendly people everywhere.
Saw the Queens torch thingy being relayed through Edinburgh. It's safe to say the Gumball will have been somewhat more exciting.
Anyway. Best till last. The meet. It was brilliant!
Thank you David, Jim and Brian for making it all possible +++. And thanks to everyone else for their contributions. And Conner, the oil that kept the wheels moving.
Everyone else for the photo memories (some great picts), and of course for being there.
I think Ann has finally realised that this whole A8 club thing is not entirely barmy, and as far as I can tell she really enjoyed herself too. :D

Great work Connor, absolutely lovely that A8 RRU is, I'm sorry, I meant photos of all cars :D

Another proof that this year Annual Meet was a great success is the poll results for next year. For this year we've had only 12 votes, after this year meet and huge success there has been staggering 57 VOTES !!!!! already.
Coincident, I don't think so...

Again, THANK YOU to Three Musketeers +++

The 2 voting threads are not really comparable, I'm afraid. For the 2014 meet, we stipulated "vote for one location only" as all were in Scotland. The 2015 vote allows you to vote for multiple locations, hence the high number. But there are at least 17 individuals who have voted, so still pretty good.

It's quite interesting reading the 2014 thread, especially those who said they wouldn't be able to make it, but did!

I'm still reeling from the staggering level of support for this year's meet. You guys really made it great! +++
