Correct. It'll plug into the fuel rail(s) causing the engine ECU(s) to think the fuel rail pressure is lower than it actually is, so that is compensated by raising the pressure in the rail. This gives a power increase and is by no means the proper way to do it at all.

A good remap will always be better.

Tune box

Cheers, is it easy to remove this box? Can one with basics remove it?

A friend of mine has one in his A7 3.0Q - its pretty simple, once you have located it, pull the plugs to the box, and reconnect the plugs that came out onto themselves so all you have left disconnected is the box and the two plugs connected to it (unless you have a single plug version)

From the standard headers as i kept the precats, also its an engine out job to upgrade the headers! right back to the standard boxes is all changed. So still options to change the boxes for a deeper/louder sound if i want.

So that's what it sounds like with both resonators on each side removed +++

Too loud for me personally, but you said you wanted more growl and you've certainly got that, I hope you're satisfied with your decision? You had new flexis fitted too?

Yeah apparently they make a big difference.
I just gave the man my brief of what i wanted and let him crack on.
