Wanted - new passenger side light/indicator

So happened to notice this today…..
Doesn’t look likes it’s been smashed but just that any glue has perished and the glass fallen off…..
Guessing it’s normal with our age of cars….

Need a replacement, so reaching out here before I try prestige.

Might explain as well my bulb warning light from a couple of days ago that’s not going off…..

Hmmm for some reason not accepting my img link……

Suffice to say I’ve an indicator lens that’s not there, no glass on ground, not sure where it’s fallen off or how…….

Do a search in the UK for:
4D0953049
It's this one here:
https://shops.audi.com/en_GB/web/tra...term=4D0953049

If you have no luck getting one in the UK, PM me and I can see how much it would be for me to send one to you.

Bugger wish I’d seen your post about swinging into the uk with a van….. nn10 ain’t all that far from me.

Struggling with this sidelight and I’m struggling more with £150 for one from prestige when they’re about €85. This is before any discounts, and yes I know there’s shipping etc and they’ve gotta make a bit on things….

Check out the following site. I ordered a part from them about a fortnight ago. Standard shipping rate was 17.90 Euro but because the part is classed as 'special procurement Audi Tradition', the shipping came to 27.90 Euro.

Not sure how they work out the shipping rate per item, but you're likely to pay around the same for a lens cover, so about 109 Euro all in, 81 for the lens and 28 Euro for shipping:

Unfortunately it was a "short notice" trip :(.
Currently in NN10 now.
One part has been delivered and the rest will be handed over today.
It makes a change from me posting stuff.

Yeah, Google Translate within the browser, the little icon in the bottom left corner.

If you're using Chrome, right click anywhere on the page and select 'Translate to English'.

Oh well I always forget about built in browser functions like that. Good job I figured it out from my school German lessons lol

Thought I’d just update on this,
Got the lamp, great and quicker than I expected…..
Got my local garage to fit it while I had the car in for service, lamp fell out on m6 on a drive up to Scotland for Easter

So some words with garage last Thursday and they agreed to replace the light, quick call to prestige, and it arrived today. I didn’t mind paying £150 for it to get it quick and considering I’d not be paying for it….

Struggling to get anyone local to me to fit it up here in Scotland so thought I’d try myself, seemed easy enough I was just conscious to be careful not to drop it!

Can’t get the bloody thing to hold in place, is there some trick to it?

Here a pic of the back of it you can see the slider guides that fit in place or at least seem to no trouble at all. The white clip thing I’m not sure of, it seems to go in the right place but no sure if it catches anywhere etc

Oh and when the light has fallen out it’s taken the bulb holder with it so couldnae put an indicator bulb in if I wanted to….

It should clip to the headlight and lock in place although sometimes the white bit does need wiggling to engage properly.
