I felt really bad for Mike ending up by the side of the track mid-flow so as a sympathy gesture when I got back to the pits I ran myself over with my own car :ROFL:

It was an eventful day, we had a lot of fun, and other than some bruises (some psychological, some real and remarkably purple), no permanent damage was done :D

Turns out a 2.2hp starter motor is plenty to start a hot 4.2 V8 in 1st gear. Not being in the car at the time proved unwise.

Hoping you're not too badly hurt. Must have been scary at the time !

That's a very inconsiderate car, considering all the love and attention you give it.

Perhaps despite its alarm, it knows better than to not start when commanded by the hand that so kindly fettles.
It was between a rock and a hard place. I feel sorry for it :ROFL:
