For sale is my brother's VW Golf 1.6 Driver.

He's owned the car for at least 14 years and it's still in original condition.

It has done only 120425 miles and has MOT until July 2018.

The car is located in Southampton and a move abroad has meant selling the car.

Call Paul on 07979426464 if interested.

£2750

Any idea what the "additional waxing" entails thats mentioned in the ad ?

"Before that she was bought new and passed down through another family, who paid extra, when buying her new, for the additional waxing, which is probably why she's survived so well,"

It was additional underbody sealant to when purchased. The documents have it listed, however since moving house a few times they've been mislaid! Hopefully he'll find them soon.

Cavity waxing probably.
Was popular as a dealer option here in the 80's from the likes of Toyota - nice to see they had confidence in their product!

£2750 is a bit pricey for a 27 year old Golf isn't it?
Or is that what they fetch?

Yes, I think it was cavity waxing, seems to have helped since there is little rust on the car. It's in very good condition for its age.

I've no idea what these fetch, maybe he is being optimistic with the price, but it might be worth that to someone else too!

Still for sale.

Sounds like he needs this moved on so if anyone is interested in a decent Golf Mk2 for restoration etc let me know.

Price dropped to offers around £1k

I should have more recent photos soon too.
