The disparity between quoted figures and reality on our S5 is similarly comical/indecent. I’ve never got close even when trying. 20s won’t help our cause and the spec means it’s heavier.....

I've seen 30mph in built up areas but thats it, best ever on a long slow run on cruise was 25.4 and never seen again - I took a photo as a memento lol

I've had low 20's on a few runs involving a mix of roads, usually when I'm making an effort to do so.

After almost 4 years of ownership I've long since given up on 25+MPG and just enjoy the drive and don't think about the consumption.

Those figures quoted are truly ridiculous.
