I would wait if i would be you , as first you will get an error anyway and the engine will not disintegrate, i have known people driving with them like that for 1 year and nothing happened .

When i had mine with this issues i just bough a refurb kit from ebay for about £120 and i had that done with a garage for £100 and everything was fine after .

I rebuilt mine.
The option was to rebuild and have the flaps removed and mapped out but the cost was the same.
Being a bit of a OEM nut, I went for the rebuild option.

I borrowed some inlet manifolds off a friend, cleaned them, bought a rebuild kit off ebay and rebuilt them.
Then its just a case of swapping them over when you've got a couple of hours spare.

Don't touch them till they fail.

They don't break up and kill anything like the 4.0

Worst case It'll just put the engine warning light on.

Expect it nearer 100k miles.

You can't prevent it. The runners are plastic and just wear over time. Bad design.

Is that a typo?
You missing the 1 at the start or a 0 at the end of the miles?
