Alloy query

Looking at possible summer wheels when I move the current alloys over to winter tyres in October, will the following fit:

275/35/20 on 10J 20" ET35 and 5x112

Any wheel gurus out there?

Morning mate
I'm not a guru, but I am fussy about the wheels

Looks like they should be fine.
The attached picture is of my current set 275/35/20 ET29 9J
I went with ET29 in order to avoid spacers because I truly hate OEM offset and wheels being so deep inside the arches. It worked.
There is 6mm gap between the face of the ceramic caliper and the back of the spokes.

10J will stick further 7mm so if you are not planning to significantly lower the car you should be ok, just about. If you do lower you may get the rears rub against the inner wheel arch, just bare that in mind.

If you want I can attache later few pics of my 9J ET29 and how far they poke.

Can I ask why 10J and not 9J ??

Are you aware that 275 tyre will look stretched on 10J?? Not massively, but it will, and on my previous D3 with slightly lowered front this has caused inner tyre wear - brand new tyre within a year had 5,5mm left on the outside and absolutely nothing on the inside with wires nearly sticking out.

Also, because of the larger contact area you may notice a bit more effort required when turning the wheels, not sure if that would put an extra stress on the power steering pump, I'm not that technical unfortunately.

275/35/30 on 9J is a sweet setup looking very OEM, nothing silly, and ET29/25 is as far as I would go, at least with ceramics on - I don't know the width difference between standard S8 caliper and ceramic one.

In the pic attached existing is the 9J and new 10J +++

Unfortunately the wheels I like only come in 8J and 10J varieties...

I also spoke to Nils who is selling the Suzuka Grey S8, he's had about 10 sets of wheels on that thing so far, and also confirmed 10J will be fine.

Because of the type of tyres I like (Vredesdens) they come with a decent rim protector, there appearance of stretch will be minimal (I previously ran 235s on 10.5Js) on my cabriolet, now that was stretch...

I'm not planning on lowering this car, not any more than the stock air system allows at least so rubbing shouldn't be an issue.

Thanks for the replies +++
