Love it. Great colour combo, GLWS

Out of interest, what does the mileage and service history look like? How much are you looking for?

paulrstaylor 23rd July 2018 06:21 PM

Sorry, critical info missing!

62k miles, full main dealer service history +++

So much car for the money.

I bet the p/x value was verging on offensive, but this should sell privately with ease ?

D4 prices have fallen like lead balloons. Even the S8 has.

But, to be fair, that's the whole car market as a whole. So much leasing going on now, fewer and fewer car buyers out there with any interest in stumping up capital to buy a car outright any more.

The cheapest 4.2tdi on the auto trader at present is this 100k miler, with faults and minor impact damage at £15,500......

Mine is 100% working, low mileage, full main dealer history, so hopefully I can find a buyer! I’m not in need of the cash to buy the Q7, but drive space and NCD is at a premium with too many cars :ROFL:

I now have a buyer lined up at a price I'm happy with - subject to me closing the Q7 deal.

D2 -> D3 -> D4.... Will feel weird not having an 8 :-(

paulrstaylor 9th August 2018 07:58 PM

Sold today, second V8 Audi in a week.... only the RS4 left now, until tomorrow :ROFL:

Does feel weird, first time in a decade I haven't had an 8 on the drive :(

How much did you get if I may ask, as I'm thinking of putting mine up for sale soon?
It's got more spec that yours did but at least would give me an idea.

Initial trade in price (main dealer) was £10,750, this was upped significantly and underwritten by another trader. In the end I sold it to a colleague for ~£15k - maybe I could have got more, but I was happy to let it go for that. Niche car, tend to either sell in a week or sit for months waiting for the right buyer - I was happy to take the former option!

Depreciation of ~4k a year wasn't that bad I guess :ROFL:
