If I understood it rigth it will be 3.0TDI only

Yeah and it makes no sense either Ainars,

And back in 2001, the A8 received a 6.0-litre W12 engine, making it the world's first four-wheel drive V12 luxury saloon (although no such capacity will be available in Edition 21).

Now that's some 'pioneering production' right there a W12 being the first 4 wheel drive V12.

And yes that's how i read it 3L derv only

The lack of engine choice is a bit short sighted but the interior looks the business. The 8 speed ZF on the D4 helps the 3.0TDI along nicely. I think I read somewhere that the 0-60 time is slightly quicker than an S8 from 1996. Technology has moved on for Diesels since 1996.
No doubt an S8 from any era is the real drivers car though.

0-60 in 5.9 isn't exactly slow.. but still.. only in 3.0TDi for a 'flagship limited edition' model... I could understand not doing the W12, but I'd have thought 4.2TDi at least

and a petrol option for those of us that already own a tractor.

Still can't see how a W12 converts into a V formation
