Clutch Master Cylinder?
 

Is there a source anywhere for a replacement clutch master cylinder for a factory manual D2? Looks like part # 4D1 721 401B. I was able to cross reference it to a number of aftermarket companies, but all of them are NLA from what I can find.

Alternatively, is there anybody that could rebuild them if there are no replacements?

Check German ebay and Audi traditions shop.
If they don’t have it, may be better to get an Audi A4 master cylinder or similar, and machine an adapter plate to fit it to the D2 pedal box.

Thanks for the ideas! Currently don't see any on ebay.de, but I'll keep checking every once in a while. Not sure how feasible using an A4 master cylinder would be, but I'll definitely look into what it would take.

It looks like they are able to get one... but they are charging 89 EUR just for shipping. :eek::eek2:

Was going to make a comment about what they've charged me in the past, but just noticed where you're located. Even so, it seems like a lot for shipping considering it's size and weight.

Considering I was able to ship a set of wheels from Europe to here for about the same price a few years ago... :(

See what they ship 2 to the Netherlands for. I have someone there that would forward them.

Guess I should have jumped on it while I had the chance. Now they don't list any of them. And Audi Tradition doesn't show any either. Glad I don't actually need one yet.
