I've always considered the 'Date of Production' to be the birth date however. Or do cars have 2 birthdays, like the Queen? :D

According to the Date of Production for my car, it turned 18 this year on the 18th June. Which, coincidentally, is my Dad's birthday and the day before my own birthday (unfortunately though, I turned 50 this year not 18).

My build sticker just gives a month and year, (07/02) where did you find the actual build date?

I don't know where it came from but I have a decode list for my car that includes an exact build date, 10th April 2002, which I remember because my birthday is the next day.

From my car's spec' data, which came from Ian (IT), if I remember correctly (see attached).

Strange coincidence! Same here. Car's 'Birthday' is the 18th June and mine is the day after.

And my document looks like yours too, so probably the same source.
