Strange noise

Guys, what could that be??
It takes around 10-15min for the sound to appear when engine/bay gets up to temp. It is on the driver side and I think more bottom part. Really hard to tell coz the sound is really high pitch which is what you can't hear in the video as much. Thank you in advance +++ file attached. |
All I can see there is alternator.
It can't be fan as the noise goes away when I rev it ?!?! |
Sounds like it could be belt squealing or altenator bearing.

I haven't listened to your video, but have you checked the PAS fluid level. The reservoir is buried and consequently often gets missed in servicing.

If it was Dezzy's car then I would suggest that you remove the pig from the car and instead use a trailer to take it to the abattoir. :)

For Dezzy: A friend of mine tried to take his pig to the abattoir in the back of a Clio. Lets say that the journey didnt end well for anyof them - including the car. |

I'm sticking with belt at the moment, just needs a slight tighten up. Easy fix
David. I'm not supprised the pig was protesting, a Clio! I would have rather have ridden the pig, athough getting home might be an issue. http://forum.a8parts.co.uk/attachmen...1&d=1499952974 |
I had a similar sound that disappeared when revved. This was on an A4 and it was the water pump. Have you a mechanic's stethoscope?

Long shaft screwdiver will do if not
