I really hope someone buys a saves this car. If I had the space I'd offer him 4k, park it in a corner somewhere and just drink beer and stare at it. I really do like deep red, maroon cars. The millage is gonna make it difficult to justify throwing lots of money at it though. Nevertheless, a thing of beauty. In my opinion.

It is impressively original...... and a nice exterior colour. Spec and interior colour are less impressive.

Its a bit time warp really as many have been fettled with over the years.

It could be an absolute gem. The last S8 I had was a very high motorway miler, and it was genuinely the tightest, most responsive D2 S8 I ever remember driving.

Or it could be a money pit. But from the advert alone, we will never know....

Considering there's around 200 D2 S8s left there's a fair few up for sale.

I think that's the most D2"s I have seen up for sale at any one time for a number of years now. 8 on ebay plus 1 on autotrader. I really hope this is not a sign of owners changing employment status.

I suspect it is a sign of the global economy, weekend toys become less relevant as things get tight....
