Fault bits
Hi Guys,
I've finaly after a load of messing about got one of the dodgy cables to play ball with 3.11 - Old but hopefuly it'll give me an idea of how much use/worth there is in things. I've scanned, then cleared, then run arround a bit and scanned again and been left with : 17927 - Camshaft Adjustment: Bank 1: Malfunction P1519 - 35-00 - - 17549 - Load Calculation Cross Check: Implausible Value P1141 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent 17539 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor: B2 S1: Internal Resistance too High P1131 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent I've had a Engine check light since i bought it and was told that it was due to the LPG installation and nothing to worry about....However i'm always sceptical. Anyone explain the above ??? - Is it worth getting that Lambda sensor replaced (they are on the exhaust i belive as with ramps probably not a big job ?) Ta, Lee |
The Lambda is a definate failure, shouls have a basic wiring check but that fault's pretty much a definate!
The load calculation will be air leak/dodgy Air Mass but Timing issue will be either faulty camshaft adjuster or cam belt on wrong...... Either way it's likely to be costing you ponies!! |
Hi There,
You mention elsewehere here that "Bank 1 is driver's side and bank 2 is passenger side on a RHD car." So its Pasenger side....I'd guess S1 is pre-cat ??? Ebay has them for £67 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Bosch-Lambda-S...d=p3286.c0.m14 Even has my AVP engine code ! However i guess replacing this will help my fuel economy and once done i will reset and see what comes back - Fix one prob at a time. Ta, Lee |
Hiya,
Ooooh There is also a cheapy nobrand one for a meer £43 - Is the bosch worth it ? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Audi-A8-3-7-4-...d=p3286.c0.m14 cya, Lee |
You might as well just get the Bosch one, its not that much extra and is the original one Audi put in. I got one for £60 from Ben last week although it didn't fit he managed to modify it to work.
