The joys of half day Fridays mean I can add these switches to my 8.

Sadly the master switch from 8P lacks the individual child locks like the 8 and they are so massively different I can't swap bits overseas. With 8P unit in it the child locks and window locks still works.
I'm working on a different master switch so I can keep the individual switches.

Cant the button caps be fitted to the existing switch unit to keep the individual rear lockouts. My car is like yours so I am watching with anticipation.

Del, rest assured that this will be done.
We found a pretty good solution withoit modifying too much (caps swap)
Caps can't be swapped, they're so much different it's almost impossible without employing an engineering team

Everything will be fine Del, few more sleeps and Scott will have it done +++

The A6 switch turned up today.
It looks identical to the 8P unit but with the different chrome and dead lock buttons.

Under the caps is identical as well.

Stripped the door card down again, removed the master switch and swapped the caps over.

The A6 dead lock buttons are slightly different shape but they look fine and works.

So, to close this thread here is the solution for anyone having individual child locks on the master switch.

You will need a Master Switch PN: 4G0 959 851 instead of PN: 4F0 959 851 H

...and do what Scott did (as above), swap the window switches caps
