New tyres all round - ready for summer

Just had four new tyres fitted. Clayed and machine polished the inside of the rim then treated the wheels with Gtechniq C5 wheel armour, then put two layers of wax on top of that, 1 collonite and 1 Sonax pure carnauba wax. Shine like a mirror!
Really loving the Michelin tyre walls! http://forum.a8parts.co.uk/attachmen...3&d=1585517875 http://forum.a8parts.co.uk/attachmen...4&d=1585517875 |
Nice! What that set you back? Let’s see the full car shot.+++

So the whole set was £935 fitted.
Here they are fitted to the car. Initial run surprised me with some road noise, seemed louder than the winter tyres but we'll see if that settles a bit. Here they are fitted to the car. http://forum.a8parts.co.uk/attachmen...1&d=1585659215 http://forum.a8parts.co.uk/attachmen...1&d=1585659215 |

Lol. Part worn I guess?
Car looks mint by the way. Would you think about putting spacers to poke the wheels out a bit? |
Thanks! Yes, considering spacers for sure, not decided on lowering it yet, hence I haven't done it yet.
I remember the days of cheaper tyres 🙂 But then none of them had to be rated for 190mph 😁 |

I think my Michelin PS4S's on 20s will be staying in the garage until 2021. :-(
Winter wheels and tyres might as well stay on now and if we do get to Kelso in October they will be fine. |

I thought about SORN as well, but it's useful having a backup car so it will stay road legal and maybe get the odd trip out when we need to get our shopping.
Conveniently our Volvo had it's annual service and MOT early in March. |
