My first annual meet ... I remember it well :)

+1 from me.
Though I have been back in the area since, but in something bigger than an 8 that was much too large for the bridge.

Possibly my two all time Celtic video clips - that don't have green & white hoops in them, anyway ;) .

In addition to the usual confirmation that an '8 is the finest way to travel, this brings back really fond memories of meeting friends old (& new, in the case of Ray, Mark & Co @ Portmeirion!), and of some fine, fine whiskies (and not so fine midgies...) on the front terrace of the Tyndrum Inn.

To good times past, and those yet to come :cheers:

Great memories thanks Brian! +++
Please thank Connor too - he did a lot of photography and videos for many meets and it was always hugely appreciated except by Mike who mostly stole his food :D

Both were very memorable meets and bring back a lot of very happy memories!

I received an email video from a friend that shares a different passion than 8's with me.
Model Railways.
Here is a still from the video. It is only a model but does anyone recognise the area it represents?
It is a photo taken from the toll gate of the bridge depicted in Brian's second video.
In real life it has changed a lot, the track has been lifted but part of the signal stands.
The hotel is of course King George VI where we were based during our Snowdonia trip.
As Neil said, many memories.
