A8 Parts Forum - 2006 s8 D3 for sale - 170,000 miles, silver, B&O

Hello to all forum members. After five and half years ownership and retirement from my consulting activities, the time has come to sell my beloved Audi S8 V10 executive cruiser. It will shortly appear on ebay and autotrader for £9750, but I thought members here might like first refusal. Member discount of 5% if contacted direct through forum.

Very high specification Audi S8. Oct 2006 (56 reg) in silver metallic with 2 tone contrasting leather trim in silver and black. 170,000 miles. 5.2L V10 with flappy paddle gear change. Extras fitted include B&O sound system, hybrid TV, extended leather trim and iPhone integration. In excellent condition with new MOT and just serviced. 1 owner for the last 5 years. HPI clear. Vehicle located in Berkshire (RG42). Realistically priced at £9750.[/b][/b]

Factory Options Fitted – Bang & Olufsen sound system with 1000 watts and 14 speakers. Extended leather trim with contrasting stitching covering doors and lower dash. Hybrid TV tuner (digital and analogue) integrated into MMI and displaying on central screen. Iphone integration (Dension not factory) allowing Bluetooth phone connectivity and music played under control of the MMI.

Standard Features– Audi aluminium spaceframe and body panels, so no rust problems. 5.2L v10 engine producing 450bhp capable of 0-60mph in around 5 seconds and over 180 mph where permitted (been derestricted). Audi tiptronic automatic gearshift with flappy paddle controls on the steering wheel. 20” alloy wheels recently refurbished with matching correct spec Yokohama tyres, good tread levels. Two tone nappa leather upholstery in silver and black with carbon fibre and aluminium trim, alcantara headlining. Keyless entry with fingerprint recognition (useless!) and soft close doors. DVD satellite navigation with 2016 maps. CD multichanger. Advanced parking system with rear view camera. Electric rear blind, glass sunroof, Electrically adjustable front seats with seat heating. Adjustable rear seats with heating and separate ventilation controls. Dynamic cornering lights with bi-xenon plus headlamps. Silver electrically adjustable foldable door mirrors. Adjustable sports air suspension with 4 settings. Stainless exhaust with 4 outlets and performance valve which opens above 4000 rpm.

Service History - New MOT (to Oct 18) and just serviced (Sept 17). In excellent condition and has done over 100,000 miles under my ownership as a long distance luxury express. All the usual known issues have been addressed (power steering pump, hoses, parking brakes, air suspension compressor). Relacement brake discs and pads within the last 10,000 miles. Gearbox oil/filter changed. Valeted every fortnight. Front end recently resprayed to remove stone chips. Maintained by a local independent garage with full service history and large file of invoices for all work carried out under my ownership. Ready to do the next 100,000 miles for an owner who looks after it in the same way.

What is not perfect – soft close on driver’s door and boot lid. TPMS sensors need replacing, bubbling paint on boot lid handle and small parking mark on rear (plastic) valance. Slight wear on driver’s seat bolster.
