Might be interested, but I'm not totally sure what bits you mean, could you post a picture please.

You should have them already Andrew (they're standard on mine) but seem to remember there are space issues if you have fancy rear seats

They are very deeply recessed on the D2 so you have to have a really good feel about to identify them with the seat in place. They line up nicely with the seam that runs front to back on the seat bases, as a guide to where to start!

Only the very early facelifts came without the isofix brackets, but as Adrian says, you will have to fondle deep between the seats to see if they are there or not.

Oo-er :p

Yes, think they are there, I thought it might be an extension to the "hidden" bits.
Having helped my son fit a baby seat into his S4 (where the brackets are quite obvious) I wondered if there was something extra.

They're quite a common retrofit request for B5/C5 models as they weren't standard fit, but the anchorage bolt holes are there on most models.

The spacers you get supplied with most child seats are too chunky to fit the D2 due to the rear side airbags. Audi supply ones that are supposed to fit, but they cost an absolute fortune and may well be NLA now.

I carefully align everything, with a seat cover in place, and have never damaged the seat despite long term ongoing child seat use using Isofix
