VCDS Help please

I have vagcom but only do basic things with it, however I am looking to do a couple of other bits and need some guidance.

Firstly, the key blipper only unlocks the drivers door, it's really annoying having to blip it multiple times to unlock the passenger door as well, is there any way of coding so one blip unlocks driver and passenger simultaneously?

Secondly, how do you lower the car via vcds? And does it lower overall or does it lower according to different states, i.e.: comfort, dynamic or automatic? I just think the car is percet in comfort mode for day to day, however, in dynamic I'd like it to sit a little lower, maybe by 20mm max

Anyone on here a guru?

I think there is a setting in the systems menu in MMI that asks about door locking/unlocking.....

I will go and check.

Yes our A6 was the same...i was tying to find it in VCDS then good old Google came up with the answer, it was in the MMI.

I have just found this for a VAG car so try in Central Locking or Central Convenience

Quote:

Selective Unlocking:
[Select]
[46 - Cent. Conv.] (35 - Cent. Locking for manual window cars)
[Recode - 07]
Write down the existing coding for future reference.
Enter 5-digit code from below
[Do It!]
Look at the existing Soft. Coding. If you have selective unlocking (press the unlock button on the remote once to open the driver's door, twice to open all the doors) the last digit of your coding should be an even number. To make all doors unlock, add 1 to the coding.
So, if you have a 2-door 2002 GTI that is coded for selective unlocking (00064) add one to make it 00065 so that all doors unlock with one press of the unlock button.

Regarding the lowering, theres some very good write ups out there, just have a google search.

Ive lowered mine, but it doesn't go down any lower when you put it in dynamic as most people want.
