Dry Ice Cleaning
@MikkiJayne, you need to get yourself one of these machines.
OK, it may not work as well on UK cars, nor on rust, but would help get through the crap so you can see what does need replacing and what can be kept on the underside, and engine bay probably too. The landowner behind me is about to attempt to get planning to build some small light commercial units, joint venture? :) Dry Ice Cleaning |
1500lbs of dry ice to clean a low-mileage california car?
Did he say a $100K machine too? Its a nice outcome, but I suspect I'll be sticking with my Gtechnic APC and a soft brush for a little while yet  |
This the right stuff Michaela?

Yeah that's it +++ I use it with a wheel brush for cleaning all sorts of stuff :)

I did buy GTechnique APC citrus cleaner before but was disappointed as I was expecting full on citrus cleaner like what 3M or Motip does but what I received was more like alkaline cleaner with some citrus solvents added. There are other cheaper alternatives that are just as good as if you want alkaline cleaner if that's what you want. If you want proper citrus cleaner I found 3M and Motip are the only ones but it is more expensive
