Wife saves the day
 

So there I am working on the brake wear indicator bypass and its going well but I knocked the instrument cluster and 2 dash rings fell off.

So as you do, I start shaking my fist at the sky just as the Jehovah Witness over 85s recruiting team turns into the drive. Two sisters that are regular nuisance callers. When they see me waving my fist in the air of course I get asked what I am doing.

At this point I am a little frustrated and so I am a tad facetious. I say I am warning god if he dosen't give me a break we will be chatting at close quarters and only one of us will walk away! :eek2: Not a particularly clever thing to do I know with hindsite.

However, the wife is in the garage and hears all this. Now my wife only swears once every third ice age with a q in the month. On this occasion she is so exasperated by my facetious remark she says to herself 'O for fcuk's sake'!! :eek: What she dosen't realise is the garage acts like a megaphone..... I hear it quite clearly and I'm shocked. The gruesome twosome however switch straight to Kamakazi Evangelical mode and head fearlessly into the garage. +++:ROFL:

At this point I have a sever urge for a cup of tea and bolt for the house. The wife comes in 15 minutes later and I slip out the back to the garage. Dosen't help as I am quickly hunted down. I love my wife!
