Remember, there are several variants of these mirrors, depending if you've got memory, dimming, etc.

Referring back to my old thread (can't find it quickly) the solution to many ills is to take them off, turn upside down, and get the folding mechanism thoroughly lubricated.

I might even have one lying around somewhere that I fixed...............

Just to add some detail to that part number, it's for a PF between 9/96 and 12/98 and is electric folding, with heated element for vehicles with electric memory seat and backrest adjustment
