ABS sensor for 20 inch wheels
 

Afternoon all

Does anyone have (or indeed know where to find) an ABS sensor for cars with 20 inch wheels? Audi have offered a price for a new OEM item. I have laughed and run away.

Would be marvelous to find someone with one languishing in their sock drawer or tool box.

From the description your car didn't come with 20" wheels anyway and the sensor isn't related to that, not even sure there's a different one anyway for cars that came with them from the factory though they did have some slightly different front suspension components.

Had my O/S front done last year.
Part cost circa £154 from memory
Part Nos is 4D0927803E

Cars that left the factory with 20" wheels feature shorter front ABS sensors, so if yours had 18s originally I would stick with those assuming they are not rubbing anywhere.

The price for 18 or 20" fitment ABS sensors is identical from Audi/TPS.

I wouldn't bother fitting used parts for something like this - they seem to have a finite life before they crack internally so you might as well buy new.

They only take half an hour to fit assuming they're not jammed in.
