D3 boot auto close from key/interior button
 

Has anyone done this? I saw the video a while back and it was on my to do list. Will be trying this in the next week or so, seems like a handy feature to have and a cheap mod.

Yes. I did this mod shortly after the meet in North Wales (A while back now).

Another forum member sold the relay on eBay (which I bought). Although, I intercepted the wiring near the battery - which avoided stripping down the boot lid. It works really well

Good to know someone on here has done it. I have seen the video on wiring it near the battery and haven't decided which route I will go down yet. Any idea who was selling the relays?

Late reply but i did this a few months ago. Relay was purchased from eBay and I decided to go down the boot lid route as I had to strip it anyway to replace the boot handle trim. Fairly simple and works like a charm.
