Outside door handle stopped working
 

The exterior door handle on the front pax side has stopped working. It may have gone wrong when I pressed the unlock button in the car whilst someone was trying to open the door.

Any ideas gratefully received before I strip the door down!

Does it not open from the inside either?

If it doesn't open from either side that's where it gets sticky, don't know if you can remove the door card with the door shut, ill look at mine later.

If you need a new door lock mechanism, I was £165 from TPS (trade discount and didn't pay vat) for my drivers side one last week, that's the soft close one, cheaper without.
