I know the prices of these superb machines are increasing, but i think this is stretching it a bit far.

Car is UK supplied but is LHD, from the photo. Reg is R269HPN. Oil leak on the MOT since 2016. Does look nice in silver with the 18" wheels. +++

Chris from the AOC just bought his PF A8 4.2 with 77K original miles and RHD for about a tenth of that! I think that is hugely optimistic price bearing in mind its a LH Drive, they would have been better selling it abroad where the prices are higher and the LH Drive is more sought after

Saw this yesterday, laughed and moved on.

The photo is clearly a Facelift car, and possibly american spec given the indicators so no idea what the actual car looks like.....

It could even be a pukka right hand drive UK example.

If you're going to use a random internet photo, try and make it vaguely match the car you're trying to sell !!

The odd thing is, it is being sold by OAS Car Sales (Oxford Auto Sports) who we know of old and who currently have 5 or 6 other A8's and S8's for sale (All D2's) and their other adverts all have loads of pictures and are quite nicely taken, so I can only guess they dont have the car yet or that its not prepped yet and this is a "holding picture" to "give you an idea"

I would imagine the actual car is PF (not FL as the pic), and RHD and that the only thing corrrect is the wheeels and that its silver lol

Oxford Autosports have a very interesting pricing strategy. I looked at a few of their ads and the same cars went from £5k, then the next week it would be £3.5k then the next week it would be £6.5k? All a bit weird really.

Nope, the FL and PF S8 wheels are quite different and given there are 4 different variations of silver floating around FL, and only 1 PF, then I would bet thats wrong too lol....

The reg quoted (R269HPN) checks out as a December 1997 (i.e. PF) Silver S8 so definitely a very wrong picture (LHD and FL :Confused: ).
Untaxed but MOT valid to end October, with a few typical advisories.
