Well then. No idea they made red ones in '99.

Looks to be a fairly decent spec too. Blinds, electric headrests, xenons, solar or glass sunroof, a hint of a tow bar in one of the pics, auto mirrors.

Good find given the listing title!

Ski hatch too I think and TV tuner judging by the bulge in the boot side panel.

Yeovil, not a million miles away so will you be wandering over to have a look MJ?

Yeah not far, but I already have a red one ;)

Red is rare indeed - but if you paint it, you can have any colour you like....

Build spec says its LZ6H, Highland green metallic.... and I can defo see some overspray of red paint on at least 1 photo

Bose, Satnav, phone, Solar sunroof, blinds, electric rear lumbar/headrest, servotronic, Xenons.

Bloody good spec for an A8 to be fair.....

Oh well spotted! I didn't zoom in on that one.

Shame its not factory. I guess they didn't do red in '99 after all :(

I've seen red prefacelift, and exclusive has been an option since at least 1997 if not earlier, so I don't doubt Red was available, but rare as hens teeth to say the least.....

Failed every MOT from 2010 to 2017 and a couple before that. Seems an odd way to maintain a car, let it fail it's MOT and then fix those parts.
