AITP 9 - Audis In The Park 2017 Sun 13 August
 

Ok guys and gals - those of you that are not coming to Germany for their annual meet have some UK pleasure to gain by attending AITP 9 on the same weekend at its new venue of Deene Park, Nr Corby, Northants.

I have arranged a Club Stand for us as usual but I do need one of you who is going to hopefully take responsibility for this one and help organise as I will be away in Germany same weekend. I can liaise with the organisers on number etc just cant be there on the day :(

This is normally one of the best Audi-Only meets of the year!!

1. HPsauce. I oscillate between AudiSRS (who don't seem so keen/organised this year) and this A8/S8 group if I do go. On the other hand (if SWMBO agrees) I might at the last minute hear "Germany Calling!"....

Would be great if you can make it to either Andrew!

If you're coming to Germany you really need to be booking hotels now in Holland and Germany as both have limited resources (but both are cancellable) and Ideally be on the same ferry if you can get on it but otherwise meet up in Holland on the Thursday night or Friday morning.

If you're not going to Germany then you could always put your hand in the air and organise our club stand attendance? +++:D

Too many uncertainties in my life at present Neil to commit to anything I'm afraid. :(

Indeed, but probably the last time with the boy......work, girls and inferior German cars seem to take priority over his auld Da now..so maybe Germany next year+++

I was in Germany already, although the wrong part at the wrong time :)
Now in Belgrade, won't be back until middle of August.

Are we really saying that we've got 7 or 8 cars going to Germany but not one car going to AITP?
I need to know quick guys or I will cancel our stand as it's unfair to reserve space for us with the organizers and then not turn up to use the space.

Really sad to see if that is the case because we always used to come up with at least 8 or ten cars every year for this without fail and as a group we have attended every single one so far :-(

Neil, AITP is ONLY the Sunday (13th August). ;)

I have a ticket now (wristband) but still don't know if I'll be there for sure, too many other things going on so it will be a lastminute.com decision.

PS Just spent 3 days at the Silverstone Classic and didn't see a single S8 (or A8) besides mine :eek: . Loads of McLarens and XJ220s though!
