Alarm siren where is it....
 

Hello guys, can anyone tell me where the alarm siren is on my A8 d2 year 2002 because it doesnt work.....Many thanks.

I believe it's behind the n/s (ie passenger side) side panel trim in the boot. A bit of a faff to get to I think so I let the garage do it last time I replaced mine.

Excellent thread, though I managed to get mine swapped without removing anything like as much trim as Sean (Steamship).
IIRC it was the top plastic panel and part of the side trim (I bent it back) but my side bay is (now) empty anyway so no need to remove any brackets supporting TV modules etc.
(I don't have Bose so dropped the CD changer down below the floor to free up the bay for storage of odds and ends such as an electric tyre pump.)
