I love everything about this picture.
That Car, its so muscular, alive and beautiful IMO I want to be the person driving it and I'd be so pleased if I'd taken that photograph. Not at the same time of course :D http://forum.a8parts.co.uk/attachmen...1&d=1645136949 |
That is very cool +++

"Physical" is the word that came to my mind when I saw this (beautiful) picture. Worlds away from a modern driving experience....

That could be our very own Librarian in the hot seat.....

When we used to buy new coaches they arrived on a wagon as a bare chassis with engine and wheels. We fitted two large diesel tanks and a Telma retarder. Then we drove them to Duple in Blackpool for a body to be fitted.
I've often driven one sitting on a wooden box. |

Trust you Nick. Not me, it was gauntlets, crash helmet and a scarf. And prayed for NO rain. Much different on the return journey in a newly built coach. |
What i love about cars of that era is the size of wheels.
Lovely 80cm tall wheels. On modern cars wheels are so small and because of this they look sick. |
