VCDS coding needed from a fully loaded D4.

Hey guys, i'm after a VCDS coding from a facelifted 4H D4 (2014 and above) for a vehicle which has the following options fitted to it as i want to check the coding to enable those features on my D4.

- Adaptive cruise control
- Active Lane Assist
- Traffic Sign Recognition
- Side Assist

If anyone can kindly help out..many thanks :)

Don’t those options need the appropriate hardware, surely not just a case of coding?

I think Ray may be your man there for that coding, I'm sure his new D4 A8L FL has most of that. Wouldnt the coding be evident from the options on each section though?

After extensive research on ETKA i have concluded that my vehicle has the appropriate hardware installed as mine already has adaptive cruise control from factory.

So i just want to try the coding from a factory enabled car with all those options just so i can check whether i missed anything while attempting to code myself with VCDS.

Unfortunately i cannot find anything on Elsawin, wiring diagrams or technical instructions, in regards to the features i am trying to enable, hence i have concluded it's more of a software feature than hardware.

Thanks

I followed the following coding guide from an A6 C7 which successfully enabled Active lane Assist.

https://forums.ross-tech.com/showthr...-Retrofit-DONE

Now the A6 and A8 share the same hardware in regards to the Electronmechanical steering, Onboard camera and image processing unit.

Having enabled the coding on my vehicle, the Active lane assist did work, however there were many errors on the 5F control unit and instrument cluster about missing messages and the Active Lane Icon on the dashboard would constantly flash indicating an error somewhere.

Many thanks for the coding. Can you confirm if the coding you sent are the factory ones or have you conducted some VCDS tweaks?

Does the steering wheel actually vibrate when you go across the white lines while active lane assist is on?

Thank you

A friendly bloke with deep knowledge of 8's tweaked a few things on the day of purchase. Personally, I have no idea of the details.
Everything was updated at that time.
Everybody says that it vibrates, but my opinion is that it fights you to prevent you doing what it thinks is wrong.
