It tastes really nice. Soft sponge and very rich.
One piece is enough for me.

The cake is now cut into small pieces and placed in a few air tight plastic boxes.
If anyone fancies a piece they will have to drive to Wigan and self collect.

Slattery's told me it should be eaten within 2 weeks. So unless we meet in the next few days it's probably a bit late for that cake (if you don't wanna risk getting the trotts).
