James,
What foam are you using? Do you recommend it? I have some citru snow Foam and I always feel I have to wash the car afterwards even when its only slightly dirty. |
Yeah great fun that snow foam but I always end up taking a wash mitt to it, sort of defeats the purpose a bit. Mind you I haven't used Supa snow foam or anything or an autobright lance (standard Karcher attachment), so perhaps that may be better or it may point to the fact that my last stage protection has deteriorated.

i have supa snow foam and Valet Pro - PH Neutral Snow Foam
the ph is better thicker stuff, i do mess with a few c0cktails sometime too +++ |
Funnily enough I snow foamed mine yesterday too. Thats a bit of a rare occurence lately but I'm please I did it, the wheels are in desperate need of a refurb though.
|
I've ordered up some of Valet Pro - PH Neutral Snow Foam.
I use one of these. What dilution does the VP use? |
1st i had the one that went on the hose pipe, then that one you have mike, now i have the CYC foam lance, that karsher one is ok but i found on a car of our size it would rinse the bottle too fast so you cant get a good coverage, i have heard people use a smaller suction pipe inside it to slow the rate down a bit, the dilution is 1-10 i think i use warm water from the kettle to dilute it +++
the CYC lance is good as you can adjust the flow rate and the fan shape awesome bit of kit |
That looks awesome james! Very jealous you have a drive ;)

We use the Heavy Duty Foam lance from http://www.autorae-chem.com which has been very good until sunday when it sprang a leak soaking me in the process, looks like its just an o ring seal thats gone though so hopefully an easy fix.
