Nails! I hate nails..........
 

So there I am giving the beast its sunny Saturday wet love thing when I spot a nail! In the tyre! in between the side wall and the tread. It's got little bubbles all around it! :-(
So of to the tyre shop. "O dear sir, have to be a new tyre; and guess what? we don't have one, but can get one by Tuesday". :mad:

Onto next one....
"O dear sir, have to be a new tyre; and guess what? we don't have one, but can get one by Tuesday"

Then to Pro Tyre.....
"o dear sir, have to be a new tyre; and guess what? we have one, just one and you can have it for £245 fitted and balanced".

Moral of the story?

When you buy 4 wheels with good tyres don't buy them with expensive tyres; because you may have to replace them.
I only paid £110 more for the whole 4 wheels and tyres! ;)

I'm surprised youve got any nails left after all you've been through. . . ahem ;)

or buy 5 and keep the spare one in the garage to be fitted, then you can find a new spare at your leisure.

hey mike...if it's any consolation, i too had to buy a new tyre for the bike after i went through a nail eventhough it was only 2 months old :-(
