2015 Annual Meet - Report and Pictures

OK folks well its day 1 of 3 and having got all of our cars nice and shiny we can now proceed to get them plastered and caked in dirt from the drive to Snowdonia!

Please remember -
- That there are a lot of smaller roads in the area itself many with rocks at the edges, please take it steady. There are also many places with severe bends and hidden dips - don't get crushed or mashed!
- Remember to fill up with your favourite super unleaded or diesel prior to getting to the meet area - there isn't a lot of choice in the area and many filling stations don't even have super unleaded!
- When you get to the hotel please park D2s along the left side of the main car park and D3's to the right side. Please do not park in between the hotel and station house as that area is reserved for test drive vehicles. Non A8's or S8's could you please park in the public car park just before the toll bridge - thanks.
- Please bring along your prize donations and catch up with me to hand them over when you get there and you'll also be given a Meet Binder (1 per car).

Finally lets hope for weather that is lenient and that we have the best meet to date!! Have a great time everyone!

Further reports to follow with pictures . . . . +++

Thank you

Just want to say a big thank you to everyone that arranged the Wales meet this weekend. Me and my friends had a great weekend and all the events that were put on were very good. Gutted that we didn't make the Sunday event but had a very ill co-pilot, which was a shame. Looking forward to the next one. Thanks. Dave.

Somehow, against all odds, I ended up in the RS7, RS6, D4 S8 and D4 A8 Tdi yesterday, and a passenger ride in the Tesla this morning. Blown away by the lot of them to be honest, but in terms of 'I wasn't expecting that', the Tesla gets the prize hands down. Any tech firm that has the sense of humour of actually have a button called 'insane' gets my vote +++

Arrived home safely at 20:30 after a return ride on the Tall y Llyn Railway and a drive through Llanberris Pass.
Snowdon looked lovely in the evening sun.
Off to bed now, I have an 04:00 start in a full size coach, only for two hours though.
Thanks to everyone, organisers and members for making us both som very welcome.
Photos to follow.
Night Night.

Myself and Tdum are just this minute in the door, we had a great weekend, couldnt ask for more, the location was fantastic, the effort put in to organize everything was evident during the weekend and we thank all involved.

Was great seeing you all and we hope to be at the next one where ever that may be.

Looking forward to all the photo's and the likes.

Totally agree, a great event superbly planned. +++
Managed a quick look at the cars on Sunday but due to family issues had to head off to Peterborough so couldn't hang around long enough to travel in one or get a new key. :-(
