Sq5

One of the contenders for my next car is an SQ5.

I thought I'd found a bargain until I found out it does not have navigation.

Anyone got any clue if this can be retro-fitted please?

Thanks in advance

Funnily enough just yesterday I advised SWMBO that the SQ5 is her next car, but I want to see the prices a bit lower that where they are.
They are shockingly quick and TBH her current 2.0 TFSI Q5 handles so well I reckon that with a decent engine (although diesel) it'll be a hoot.
I'm amazed that any exist sans nav. Insane.
I'd keep looking, there's a few properly specced ones popping up now, with ACC, side assist, pano sunroof, elec seats, hill start, drive slect and the rest.... including nav.
Apart from B&O and the sexy seats, that ones a bit sparse.
Be interested to know how you get on, and good luck with it

There are plenty better specced ones if you want to pay £10+k more!

I have use of other cars, but can't do without own for too long

SQ5 was the one car I asked Audi for at the annual meet, but didn't get. Looks great, seems like a cracker, must get an extended test drive for a day...

SQ5 is amazing. Had a long drive in one a couple of months ago at a 'Q' driving event held by Essex Audi tearing around the grounds of a posh country house. We pretty much had free reign of the ground and fields set out in a rough course, and was able to take the cars out for a blast on the A12 and country roads. Noticed a bit of understeer if you booted it out of a corner on wet Tarmac or grass.

The car is just blisteringly quick and the power delivery is pure torque and grunt. 5.1 or 5.2 seconds 0-60mph I believe. Interior is business as usual, latest MMI interface is easy to use and colourful, and the interior materials are just solid and Audi-like as you'd expect. Sunroof is a nice additional too. I liked playing with the settings that changed the exhaust note, pretty cool in a diesel with Dynamic mode.

As sarg said, satnav is an option, and a pricey one indeed at £1700! :tuttut: The salesman also reckoned you could easily achieve 45mpg and used prices are from around £30k at the moment. I'd love one if I could.

I hear there will also be an SQ7 released with the new Q7 line up too +++

Had a look over one and test drove it yesterday.

Drives beautifully, pick up is immense, ride a bit firm, but most disappointing was the list of features missing for a near £50k car when new.

No memory seats, no electric tailgate, no sunroof.

Still pondering

Can't wait and couldn't afford one anyway. M3 has gone, need to replace it prompto

Went back and had another look today.

The car in question is up for around £42k, have decided it's not worth the money, just not special enough inside, too much missing kit.

Went to look at a new shape X5, much nicer place to sit, not as quick but quick enough. Unfortunately the dealer was holding out for another £150 on the deal, I've opted to let him sweat on it for now.

SQ5 is a brilliant machine. There are more customers than there are cars for them at the moment, I've sold demos above list.

The SQ7 is coming, 475 BHP V8 biturbo diesel IIRC, definetley 4xx, might be 450. I didn't get to see it but a few of my colleagues have.
