Yellow and Blue Lights
 

I have noticed on my A8 that the Bi Xenon lights are a different colour.

All work but the passenger side is yellow and drivers is blue?

This a sign that a bulb is on the way out or something is not quite as it should be?

Xenon ones do change colour throughout their life but more so as they fail so I would bite the bullet and change the pair together if you can +++

If they are noticeably different I think that can also be an MOT fail.

I remember a particularly stroppy MOT tester telling me my headlights (Focus not Audi) were a different colour (only verbally) and didn't like it when I told him they were a very new matched pair of bulbs and showed him the packaging which was still in the car and suggested that maybe a glint of sunlight or some reflection might have distracted him. :ROFL:

They are the 8EC option, anyone no the right replacement part for the bulb?

Are they bi-xenons? If so the bulb is a D2R which should have a black strip on the underside of the bulb to stop unwanted light.
