Exterior Door Handles/Locks
 

Hi All,

Think this could be a common problem across all audis but it seems to be too much of a coincidence!!

December last year I had the low battery voltage warning pop up a few times, and a few days after one of the rear door handles stopped working. As in it locks and unlocks, but when trying to open from the outside it won't open unless you use the interior handle - then it will keep opening until you lock the door again.

I thought it may have been battery related but after putting in a Varta 110ah (and coding it) nothing changed. A few weeks later the same happened to the other rear door, and just today the same to the passenger side front!!

Anyone had a similar problem before where it affects 3/4 doors! Or is it just a coincidence that all of the door locks have malfunctioned within 3 months of each other.

For info it's a 2008 3.0tdi.
