P/N for Door speaker

Anyone able to look up the partnumber for a d4 passenger door speaker

its the one midway up which does only navigation commands and speech i think, not the bose one at the bottom of the door

mine seems to have a buzz when the nav speaks which sounds like its blown, doesnt happen on low volume but is noticable to the passenger.

or i suppose i could just unhook it

failing that does anyone know if the speker grill comes off without taking the door card out or are they bonded to the door card

If they are like the D3 ones then they are fixed to the door card from the back. . . which means taking the door card off to change them!

it feels that way, had a little look this morning, dont want to start removing the panel until i have a part to fit, should be fairly cheap its not the bose one

If you ring / email a8parts direct they'll get you the part number and a price for it delivered to your doorstep.

If ordered today, its usually worst case be with them next day and to you the day after. +++

In deed. Probably around 20% of the business these days is in new parts +++

they dont have one, a new part is 105 quid.

but the part number he gave me seems to relate to bose speakers that look suspiciosly more like the bose speaker at the bottom of the door

4H0 035 397

this seems to be a catchall for any bose speaker if you check on ebay
so im still none the wiser

105 quid seems a bit steep for what i would have presumed is not a bose speaker

limoncello 18th May 2016 05:53 PM

well it seems the part number is correct, and in fact they are bose speakers, hence the cost. feeling happy that i dont need a b&o one at a cost of $460 dollars ouch.
