service or not to service...
 
...is the question? Just purchased 2.8 FWD D2, what should I do about the gearbox? Mileage is just over 136k and have no proof of service. What I've seen some people say to service, some say don't fix it if it ain't broken? :Confused:

My 2.8 QS was at 100k when I bought it and no record of a gearbox service.

So I decided to spend £180 at a specialist to have it serviced. Really Happy with the results, my logic is always to service and look after rather than hope everything will be OK.

I do like to take care of my cars too. What did you do, just oil and filter or seals too?
