A6 3.0 tdi my track car issues Help please !
ok,
so i blew the turbo Yes it broke in half and tried to get out of the side right mess ive bought a 2nd hand turbo in good condition fitted it using my own actuator car sounds good but is showing a fault my scanner shows this........... 13128 Activation turbocharger control module 1-J724 Electrical malfunction in circuit-sporadic 005-No or incorrect basic setting/adaptation found this on YouTube = Help ! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x7FnVxTEH3Q |
Have you tried basic settings in VCDS? The ECU ought to be able to do it rather than having some dododad connected directly to the actuator. IIRC the actuator is driven by canbus which is why said youtube doodad appears to be working.

hi,MJ, i havent got vcds
a mate has thou , hes just got the whole shabang (is that a real word) anyway hes still learning, and im thick ! OOOH and it revs up good then the tick over is going up and down 500-1500 revs non stop brum brum brum brum switch off its ok again till revved up then same |
I think every VAG owner should have VCDS, it soon pays for itself even if just used for scanning and clearing codes. Good luck sorting it. As MJ said, basic settings may sort it.
