I thought the same thing....thinking it was for sale not too long ago, at around 4k.

Is it true the D2 S8 was available in manual form in Europe? If so, I didn’t know.

Yes, I think something like 1500 manual S8s made in LHD only. I have parts from 7 of them!

There was also a manual version of the 2.8 FWD.

There are now two manual conversions in the UK, and this time next year I will have done a couple more +++

edit - that's Audi UK's car? I am going to laugh at them very, very hard when they find it needs power steering hoses, or rear suspensio bushes. Or an air filter :tuttut: Don't dare take the door cards off and lose the bowden clip.

Do you know this for sure? I’d like to have some fact about the production numbers. Don’t know where to find though.

I was told by a German friend. I don't know where you'd verify it though. Audi aren't very helpful with that sort of info.
