WANTED: Interesting daily driver
 

All, I've just sold the AMG C63, am looking to replace her with a cheaper daily driver, for now at least.

Mrs Sarg has decided we're moving home this year, so just thrown a heap of cash at the house on carpets and decorators ready to go to market next month. As we're moving, we're going to have a double garage at the next place, so then I'll be looking for a weekend driver to fill the garage.

But for now, anyone selling anything interesting?

Budget anything from 5k to 25k, what you got? I am looking for something reasonably young, but don't mind higher miles

Not sure what you mean by interesting but as it is summer I would suggest convertible. To keep it in Audi family S4/RS4, maybe MX5 or Honda 2000 or CLK/SLK convertibles. Hell I will even throw in MR2 Targa. Can you stretch it to R8 Spyder V10 RWS?

No convertibles, too much compromise on boot space, plus I am too old, fat and bald :ROFL:

Not sure what I mean by interesting, but I don't mean a Focus 1.6 TDCI, for example :-(

I think interesting and boot space are pretty much opposites in my book. I could add RX7 to my previous list but still no boot space, some Volvos are interesting to me or SAABs

Maybe RS4 or RS6 estate?

It's a daily driver, which by nature, needs to be a practical car, including enough boot space for my tools, cables and suitcase,

The weekend driver will not need boot space...

Skoda Superb 2.0 TDI if you do not mind diesel, can be tuned over 200BHP

I'd prefer over 300hp, but yes, that is more the kind of thing, but are you actually selling any of these?

Most D3s are a bit long in the tooth for what I want from my daily driver Ray, needs to be something a bit younger, but I like your thinking.

Not ruling one out, might fill a gap between cars if nothing else takes my fancy
