Analogue TV to digital hybrid.
Sorry if already covered elsewhere.
Can the digital hybrid TV module be literally plugged in , in place of the analogue unit and work as it should with nothing else required or to do? Cheers. Mid 2006 car. Later 2006 dated hybrid tuner. |
Yes - but may require an MMI update to support it - but is identical connectors, plug and play.

The prices of the tuners in Europe should be cheap now.
Even the digital tuner is obsolete now, it hardly works anywhere due to them changing from DVB-T to DVB-T2 and DVD-T2c. Same goes for DAB, all seems to be DAB+ only when we went to France, Belgium, Netherlands a few months ago. No car TV or Radio all of the time we were away! |
