Dash Camera reviews

I'm still looking for a car camera for insurance purposes, etc.

The best reviews I watched ages ago were from this website, I thought I would post it. It has probably been posted before.

Based on his reviews I think I will be buying this cheap one.

That is a very good quality camera for the price.
I think my mate bought one after looking for a cheap version.

I want to get a camera for the wife's car and that one is tempting.

Hi
I'm researching this subject for months now.
I will post some links of 2 very good websites dedicated to dash cams.
If you looking for a decent but well priced camera look for one with a Ambrella A2S260 image processor, at least.
I found them 2 very good due to shed loads of features, very small size and still with a lcd screen.

I was looking to buy a BlackVue but the prices put me off. I ended up getting the following from Amazon UK:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I went for it based on the specs and the review by Techmoan that I saw on YouTube. It's the same as those M-A8 linked to, the only difference is that I got the one with GPS and a 32GB card included.

Can't comment on image quality as only got it at the weekend and haven't fitted it yet.

Thats the one +++
Main benefits are almost all the best features, very compact so if placed right might not be visible by guys from the garage if you leave your car for a day or few, LCD which is useful, GPS option which I personally don't really need that much, Ambrella image processor, that is very important
Really nice and decent camera

Make sure you use the right Class memory card.

Interesting read chaps, i been thinking about one of these things, just because people don't beleive what i see going on on that A303. My ex road trip buddy has been looking into this too he's come up with the following,
Cowon AW2 full 1080p HD front and rear facing cameras, with individual memory card slots and built in wifi to stream live to your smart phone.
Click ME linky
I'm not so sure about the rear facing camera it'll pick up me steering with my knee while eating half a sandwich and trying desperatly to open a bottle of beer with a 20p :p

Are there any models with invisible or almost invisible installation,
so that car interior looks 'OEM'?

Can be very expensive -- I don't care.
