Its a shame they never put these into production. Its exactly the design philosophy I like.
One speed gearbox.
Air cooled motor, battery, etc.
UK built reluctance motor - these are the motors with no copper in the rotor, ultra tough no copper windings on the rotor to overheat or burn out.
