2G Bose wiring
I'm trying to work something out on the 2G Bose wiring.
Bose in the A8 D3 has 12 speakers? 3 in the dash, 1 in each front door, 2 in each rear door, 2 in the rear shelf and 1 sub? If that's the case, the below pinouts from the Bose amp doesn't add up to the same amount of speakers. 3/4 - Front right mid-range and treble loudspeaker -R27- 13/14 - Centre mid-range and treble loudspeaker -R158- (–) 7/8 - Front left mid-range and treble loudspeaker -R26- (–) 5/17 - Front left bass loudspeaker -R21- 15/16 - Front right bass loudspeaker -R23- (–) 19/20 - Rear right loudspeaker (–) 21/22 - Rear left loudspeaker (–) 11/12 - Loudspeaker in rear shelf -R150- (–) T18/1-10 - Sub rear shelf -R157- It adds up to 9 speakers. So we are missing 3 speakers. The rear door tweeters and one of the rear parcel shelf speakers? I'm wondering if the rear door tweeters run off the rear loudspeakers via a crossover and the rear parcel shelf speakers both get the same signal, so count as one speaker? Anyone able to confirm or suggest an alternative? |
