High Spec A8 4.2 V8 Tdi with link...

https://www.pistonheads.com/classifi...e-spec/9580561

Massive specification, really well cared for by a car enthusiast who has had to look after for more fragile autos in the fleet so is used to keeping every absolutely tip top. FSH plus plenty of preventative maintenance too, any mechanical inspections or similar are more than welcome.

Up for £6995 but as the new car arrives early next week I'd accept £6000 for a quick sale

Decided the other thread was far too focussed on other cars so hoping this one can be left as a sales thread +++

Yep, to a white BMW M2 or similar.

Hi guys - yep transferred reg now so back on GF56 ZXD

It was about £320 for the fluid diff/gearbox changes, was part of a major service I had done that was around £1100

Servicing wise (excluding tyres) last few have been:

17/1/19 - £594
07/6/18- £555.17
22/12/17 - £242.40
26/07/17 - 1102.96

In-between those I've had a couple of minor things like switching the CD for AMI, Fixing a pressure switch on the aircon, new front discs and pads (Jan 19), new rear tyres 12/1/19, new rear right parking sensor, couple of numberplate bulbs

Things to come up for this year - I'd say the rear discs and pads will want doing this year at some point, the spare needs a TPMS sensor (got the others changed so they'll be fine for a few years but now the spare has gone) and the nearside adaptive light motor needs replacing as it has a rare but intermittent failure - I've already got a quote to replace for £160 so happy to either get that done or take it off the price as part of negotiation. Like any of these things can sell absolutely perfect, or can let buyer take some money off then fix at their leisure.

It really is a fantastic car - if it wasn't so long my missus would keep it but she needs something a little easier visibility wise for the cotswold villages around here

Oh... and the B&O speakers are all working 100% - so no blown cones, no distortion, sounding....just.... amazing!

You can't ask that. 3k I'll give you 2500 for yours

So will you have to get one of those 3 cylinder or cobalt powered cars soon then? Or just change the plates over from something else maybe really old so tax exempt too?

 Not sure what to get next. The BMW 520d 2013 onwards attract lower tax bracket and ULEZ compliant. Unfortunately the A8's only start from 2015 that are Euro6. Plus big money which I can justify at present.

I believe my A8 D3 PF 4.2 petrol is fine once registered with an LPG conversion.....certainly looking it's reg up, it was free :D

Don't know if the TFTI ones can be LPG'd but certainly the older ones can!
